Runners can now avoid the race-day rush with a pre-race packet pickup for all three races in the Winter Distance Series. Runners who have not registered will also be able to enter the races at this time without incurring the higher race day registration fee.

“Each event in the 2010-2011 Winter Distance Series was a huge success,” said Race Director Derek Griffiths. “Rudolph’s Revenge had more than 1,000 finishers and the other two races had nearly 1,000 registrants. With such large crowds, I don’t want runners to be stressed about picking up their shirts, bib numbers, and timing chips right before the race. Several runners commented that adding the pre-race packet pickup last year was a great idea. Also, it will give runners a chance to pick up any last minute items they may need for the race.”
Runners can also preregister for the Winter Distance Series at all five Denver metro Runners Roost locations. Anyone who registers in store will receive 25% off New Balance gear, including shoes.
